Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I'm using a Spectre x360 with a Thunderbolt Dock G2 with Audio Module.  I'm trying to update the firmware on the dock, but when I do I get an error saying that I need to have the latest Thunderbolt Secure Connect Driver installed before I can update the dock firmware.  I'm assuming that driver needs to be installed on the Spectre.

Does anyone know where that driver is?  I've looked through all of the available drivers for the Spectre and I don't see it anywhere.

Thanks,

Tony

Welcome to HP support community.

I made a research and see that Thunderbolt Dock G2 w/Audio is not supported by your notebook model.

Here are the compatible models:

That's disappointing.  I called customer service before I bought the dock to make sure it would work with my computer.  I guess "work with" and "supported" are two different things.
