I purchased the "HP 3 yr w/Accidental Damage and Theft Protection " warranty on the 23rd of May. I received an email on the 24th stating "Most Care Pack orders from our store are now automatically registered. Within two to three weeks of purchase, you will receive an email confirming the registration or requesting details for the HP product you wish to cover to complete the registration process." It has been almost three weeks to the day and I have not received any such email, nor has my product been automatically registered.
Are there steps I can take to manually apply the warranty to my device, or do I need to somehow get in contact with an HP employee to let them know I have not received the product I paid for?
Edit: I noticed that what I purchased is classified as a "Care Pack" and not a warranty, so I'm not sure if and how that affects things. Also, I found out I could "dispute" my laptop's warranty status so that may just take care of my problem, as I was able to attach proof of purchase. That might solve the situation but I'll leave this up in case there's anything else I should know.

Check the Care Pack Registration website where you can check whether there is anything else you want to / can do.
Register your product during first setup or soon afterwards
Have a Care Pack Warranty that needs to be Registered?
Check the Warranty on your product
NOTE: Warranty date is updated after purchase and registration of the device.
If the device is not registered, or if there are other issues, submit a Warranty Dispute form.
NOTE 2: If the single-system-check fails to find your device, use the "multiple devices" method to
check single or multiple devices.
- If necessary, Select your Country on the main website page or at the bottom (click Flag)
- Scroll down > To the right of Check multiple warranties, Click Continue
- Enter the Serial Number and Country for one or more devices / systems to be checked
- Check the box to verify you are "Not a robot"
- Click Submit (at bottom of list entries)
- When the page opens, Click View Details
