There is no option to turn off automatic backlit timeout

15-ec0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased new HP Pavilion Gaming 15 recently but I realized there is no way to turn off keyboard's backlit timeoff. I checked the BIOS but there is no option for that. Some people also had same problem and I am wondering if HP is going to release a bios update or 3rd party software to fix this because it is really annoying. I have used a lot of gaming laptop and I only experienced this kind of a problem on HP.

@sevindi,

If the option is not available in BIOS then you will not be able to change the settings and it is by design.

I hope that answers your question.

Cheers!
