Hey HP Community,

 

My laptop’s touchpad is not working at all. I’ve already tried a few things:

 

Installed manual drivers from HP’s official site – didn’t work.

 

Tried using third-party driver updater tools – but they didn’t even detect the touchpad.

 

Checked “Mice and other pointing devices” in Device Manager – no touchpad driver shows up.

 

Looked in “Hidden devices” too – still nothing.

 

Ran Windows Update – no new updates available.

 

 

Is there any other way to bring back the touchpad functionality? Could this be a BIOS issue or something deeper? Please guide me with possible solutions.
