On all other laptops I have dealt with, I have been able to turn off multi finger gestures from the mouse properties in the control panel.  I cannot find any option to do this on this laptop.  Can anyone help.  Its driving me mad.  This is a very silly omission from what would otherwise be a very good laptop.

@Cohort, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us try these steps:

1) Right-click on start or the windows icon and click on "Settings".

2) Click on "Devices".

3) Click on "Touchpad" from the left side of the screen,

4) Look for "Three finger gesture".

5) Under "Taps", select "Nothing".

For more info, refer to this document under 'Opening the Touchpad or ClickPad Settings'.

Let me know how this goes.
