Unable to locate bios update download on HP website/Fan RUns Constantly

HP Notebook - 17-by0103ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

today i finally received my new HP Notebook - 17-by0103ng with Windows 10. What is very bothering that the fan is running constantly and loud. Even my old  (3 years)  Pavillion Notebook was very silent no constantly running fan. I found the solution side from HP to this topic:

So i tried to find the suitable Bios Update on the HP website but the Website keeps on loading with no response fron the website. Could someone please provide me with an Link to Update  my BIOS( if there even is one) Or a other solution for my fan problem? I cant work with that noise otherwise i have to give back the notebook.

Thanks and best regards

Unable to locate bios update download on HP website/Fan RUns Constantly

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the fan is making a loud noise.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Awesome job on diagnosing the issue correctly and performing smart troubleshooting before posting your question on HP forums. Kudos to you on that score.

I order to provide you with the link to download the BIOS, I need the product number of your computer. Follow the steps in the below article to find the product details.

Alternately, I recommend you download and install HP support assistant from the below link and it will automatically detect and install all the latest drivers and software available for your computer.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. Perform any other update management actions as needed.

    • Postpone an update: Click Remind me, and then select a time preference.

    • Delete an available update: Click the Delete icon  to remove the update from the list and record it in the action log.

    • Review updates status: Click Action log below the list to view installed, postponed, or deleted updates.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
