I need to update a driver…

Lost internet. My WiFi is working.

Network says:

The “Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCLe Adapter” is experiencing driver (for hardware) related problems. Can someone help me update this driver?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the latest driver for the Realtek RTL8821CE wifi adapter.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp145501-146000/sp145749.exe 

 

I'm assuming that you have no way to connect to the internet on your notebook, so what you will need to do is to download and save the above file to a USB flash drive.

 

Plug the flash drive into your notebook's USB port.

 

Open the flash drive, and double click on the file to run it.

 

Follow the on-screen instructions to update the wifi driver.

 

Installation is automatic and when the installation is complete the black dialog box will close without further information.
