Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good day.

I want to update the BIOS for HP Compaq cq62-a15sr.

Its characteristics:

 

Identification systems (board) 143B 62.18

Product identifier WZ771EA # ACB

Date BIOS 19.05.2010

BIOS version F.06

Serial number [Personal Information Removed]

 

I found 3 versions of the BIOS, but I don't know which one to install. I do not want to damage the device. Please tell me which version of the BIOS is suitable, or where I can download it to my device, as it is no longer supported by HP. Here are the bios versions I found:

BIOS F.2A

BIOS F.2B

WinFlash BIOS F.23

We can not advise you regarding the suitability of BIOS files found elsewhere than the official downloads from the HP site.

 

As to the HP site, the latest version posted is F37 Rev A, May 3, 2011 and that will only install in Windows 7, not in Windows 10.
