If your notebook has one of the Realtek model Wi-Fi adapters, the only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers to the latest versions HP currently has available:

Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers

 

sp155768.exe

 

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver 

 

sp155460.exe
