OMEN by HP 15-ax250wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Windows store version said that version wasn't compatible with my system, so I was hoping to get an older version. Unfortunately I can't find anything on the HP support website(it's impossible to do anything on there) So I figured I'd ask for help here.

I suggest you use CCleaner to uninstall the Omen Command Center App completely from your Notebook

 

Please Note that CCleaner is not an HP App and HP is not responsible for any Ads that might pop up when downloading CCleaner

Restart the Notebook and download the Omen Command Center from this Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/omen-command-center/9nqdw009t0t5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Much as was my problem before, upon installing it it will tell me it's not compatible with my system, and it only offers me the use of a screen capture function, and nothing else. That's why I specifically asked for a version that DIDN'T require use of the Windows Store. I figure if there's an older version out there somewhere it might be better for my use. No change at all from before with this one.

As per the HP Support page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-15-ax200-laptop-pc/13810162/model/173200..., your HP Omen 15-Ax250wm did not come with the Omen Command Center and that is why the Omen Command Center is giving a Compatibility error with limited Functionality. Unfortunately there are no earlier versions available for your Notebook.
