HP Envy 13.3" in
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Envy 13.3" laptop that I purchased last year. I had a warranty that Expired July 27th. I went on vacation with intent to renew my warranty once it expired and once I recieved my paycheck. July 29th, I broke my screen before I had a chance to renew the warranty.

I know I can't make a warranty claim since I broke the screen two days out of warranty, but my main question is if its worth purchasing the HP Care pack in general? I want to make sure my laptop is protected since I will be traveling alot for my Junior year at Uni.

In that case, you have to buy some sorts of accidental damages. The way system works is similar to insurance. You can't claim warranty when your machine broken due to dropping or after a rain.

Not sure you can get a Care Pack "after the fact" for your current system.

If you plan on replacing the computer instead of fixing it, then it is worth looking into what kind of coverage you can get.

In general, the "Accidental Damage" coverage is certainly better - whether you can get it depends on the computer model. possibly your location (on the planet).  The actual coverage might vary, too.

Absolutely nothing I can tell you is more than my opinion, of course.

What to do?

Start at the Care Pack Website.

If you get to the point where you need / want more information, there is a contact number to use.

Care Pack - Optional Coverage Plans

Select Region (top right) > Enter your product number in the form to view available Warranty plans for your device

Good luck in University - hard work is better than luck, but there is always an element of surprise.  Smiling.

Stay Safe.
