Why does HP Support Assistant software show "unknown" under warranty information.


It correctly shows my product number and serial number. Clicking on the warranty button does show the correct purchase date, but it has nothing else.

Yes, I went to  HP Customer Support - Product Warranty Results - I found all the correct warranty information there. I suppose that makes it all okay - however, it still shows that HP Support Assistant simply sucks - how to fix it?

I understand that on the HP support assistance product warranty information shows unknown.

 

What is the product number of your computer? (Ensure you don't share any personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc..). 

 

Please uninstall the HP support assistance and reinstall and check.
