Product: HP ENVY x360 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 13-bf0000 (552D6AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a brand new HP Envy with Windows 11, and the webcam (HP True Vision 5MP camera) keeps crashing after a few minutes. In Google Meet and MS Team, the video freezes after a few minutes and Windows Hello face recognition fails to work often.
I ran all updates and all the drivers are up to date. The diagnostics software finds no problems (although I think it does not check the camera).

Is this a hardware failure and should I return the laptop, or is there an updated driver available to fix this issue?

 

Does anyone had any ideas?
