new Pavilion laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have always connected this laptop to the TV using an HDMI cable successfully for watching video stored on my computer.  However, I am trying to watch streaming video from my laptop the same way, connecting with the same HDMI cable.  However, the computer animates the show but the TV remains with a still image.  Does that mean I can't watch streaming that way or am I connecting something incorrectly?

@JerryR2,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display on the external screen.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver on the computer and check if it helps.
