My laptop recently had 'issues' and had to be worked on. They had to totally start over, meaning none of my installed software is there anymore. When I bought the laptop I paid to have Microsoft Office 2010 installed. I do have the Product Key from the bottom of the laptop. I went to Microsoft Office and tried to download the software by entering Product Key. Attaching message that came back:
Where on the HP sites can I download the Office software?
Thanks.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
First of all, there is nowhere on HP where you can download Microsoft software. They simply do not provide that.
Second, if MS Office came preinstalled on your PC, you might be able to get it back using HP Recovery Media -- but that depends on the particular PC -- and for that information you would have to check with HP Customer Support.
Third, there is a fee associated with the HP Recovery Media, and if your PC is no longer covered under the original HP one-year warranty, there is likely to be an additional fee to talk to HP Tech Support.

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!
