If i open one too many tabs why does the taskbar decide to behave like this?
and now magically the whole taskbar is empty and i must click on the 3 dots to see all other tabs. How do i avoid this behaviour?? Because when i use it vertically instead of horizontally , this happens even if i have only 4 or 5 tabs open

Welcome to the HP English Community --
This is not an "HP" thing; the Taskbar is a Windows thing.
The Taskbar behavior in Windows 11 is different from Windows 10.
Use your favorite browser to search for information.
For example, search for "taskbar in Windows 11"
A couple of the results
TomsHardware - How to Change the Taskbar Size in Windows 11
TheVerge - How to customize your Windows 11 taskbar
Or, go to the source - ask at the Windows Forum:

I'm sorry that i used the wrong tags for my inquiry.
I have already tried searching for answers but they all talk about different topics that don't address my issue. Not even the links you have shared unfortunately .
I will also try to ask in the microsoft community as you suggested

Tags are not wrong - Perhaps my interpretation needs work.
Smiling.
The examples were just that, samples.

AND
Use more than one browser -- what Duck-Duck shares is sometimes different than what you'll find with Google.
If something happens to you, that same thing might well have happened to someone else.
When Windows 11 hand tied the Taskbar behavior, I essentially had to give up my Side-located, double column taskbar.
Meh. I've adapted.
I would guess the behavior is normal -- if it is not, Microsoft might know -- or want to know -- what you are seeing. and why.
