@smond

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand that you are not able to update your Notebook to Windows 10 home 1803 update

I'll try my best to help

I suggest you disable your Antivirus and then try the update once again

Please refer to this Microsoft Link: https://hp.care/2y2E8OM

Next download and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter from this Link: https://hp.care/2sXWfzC

You can also download the 1803 updates directly from this Link: https://hp.care/2sXWfzC

Keep me posted if you need further assistance

Thank you 🙂

@smond

I see that you were interacting with @KrazyToad. I'd like to help.

Thanks for the reply.

I appreciate your time and effort.

You can free up the disc space and check of it updates.

Free Up at least 10 GB of space on the C: hard drive

1)Run Disk Clean Up

   a) Use the Advanced tab from Disk Clean up utility and be sure to remove the "previous Windows installation" a warning message will appear. Click Yes to complete the cleanup of the old Windows installations.

2) Remove personal files: if you store personal files like videos, music, and documents, you will need to remove these files until you have at least 10GB of free space available.

If this helps, please mark this post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others and please give the same public post a Kudos for my efforts to help.
Take care and have a blessed week ahead.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers.
