@tish54

If you are using "Windows Mail",

might be a simple "sync" issue.

Find that and other help from Microsoft.

For example,

Start here:

Mail and Calendar for Windows 10 FAQ

Question not answered?

Scroll down in the FAQ document and click to contact Microsoft Support.

What else - Windows Mail

In particular, there is little "we" offer for Windows Mail - its operation is controlled by Windows.

General advice

Make sure your Windows Updates are current.

Check and run Windows Updates -- if any Updates are installed, Restart the computer and log in.

What else?

Having added your email account to Windows Mail application, you can remove your email account from Windows Mail.

After that, Check the Microsoft Store to see if there is an update to the Windows Mail application or any other application managed / provided by the Store.

Check / Update applications in / from the Microsoft Store

Windows key > Open the Tile for Microsoft Store

If necessary, sign into the store

Click on “See more”  (three horizontal dots )

Select Downloads and Updates

Click Get Updates

Whether or not the app updates,

Restart the computer and log in.

Open Windows Mail and add your email back into the application.

Remember

Windows Mail dislikes Two-Step verification.

In your email provider setup, add / use an Apps Password or switch OFF 2-Step verification.
