@MrRobot I downloaded the latest Visual C++ and restarted my computer and this time I did not recieve the error message on start up. Is it safe to conclude that the issue has been corrected or do I need to do something else?

Hi, I decided to reset to factory settings and bought the correct recovery discs from HP to factory reset my Pavillion 15 notebook. Did it today and seemed successful until error "accelerometerdll.Dll missing". I tried the link to install C++ but it says it is no longer available. I'm not particularly happy a I paid for the new DVD's to install directly from HP so as far as I'm concerned it should have worked without any problems.
