Hello. The laptop I purchased came pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016. However, while activating, Office is only giving me an option of activating Office 365. 

 

My device specifications are as follows:

HP Laptop 15q - ds0xxx

Device Name: LAPTOP - CCD65RJ5

Device ID : 1BE74333 - 8144 - 487E - AAB3 - 236DEFA78656

Product ID : 00327 - 35839 - 04558 - AAOEM

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

The Notebook goes with the free trial of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 software. Once the free trial period expires you need to purchase MS office 365 to continue using Office 365 software and programs.
