bios password reset

Product Name: probook 4331s
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
Hello, I would like to reset the bios admin password on my probook 4331s running windows 8.1 as I would like to upgrade the bios. Any help will be much appreciated

Hello,

It is possible to have a tool created to reset the BIOS password. You would need to contact commercial support at 1-800-334-5144, and provide to them the UUID number, which can be found in the System Information section (press F1 on the Hp splash screen) in the preboot environment. You would also have to have a USB to put the tool on, and you should be provided further instructions after contacting the support line.

There are no master password generators for ProBooks or EliteBooks and most Business class laptops.

 

You will need to contact HP.
