Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop brand new, not refurbished a few days ago. Right away, the laptop would either freeze screen or go black and become unresponsive, even after attempting to press ctrl  alt del. The laptop never fully shuts down, I must force a shut down with the power button.

The laptop might work all day or become unresponsive after a few mins from startup.

There was no power outage or electrical storm. The laptop is never hot or even overly warm when this happens. I have avg internet security that I pay for and have done a scan, nothing shows up wrong. Windows update is all up to date.

Any help would be appreciated, its a new laptop and it would be good to get some use out of it without worrying about it randomly freezing up.
