Product: hp 15q ds 1001tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
As I checked on Amazon site they mentioned that HP 15q ds 1001tu has two memory slot so we can upgrade laptop ram from 8 GB to 16 GB.but on HP site they mentioned laptop has only one memory slot

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

Since your notebook has an Intel 8th gen core processor, there are two memory slots.
Models with the Pentium and Celeron processors are the ones with only one memory slot.
