Newer hardware laptops have RAM auto allocated to VRAM by internal settings that you can't change. Only way to increase VRAM with Shared RAM is to add more RAM to increase it so that when the VRAM takes up the RAM you still have enough leftover to use.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I read your post about wanting to allocated more memory to graphics and wanted to help.

First of all, on laptops, you don't have "cards"; instead, you have a graphics chip that is soldered to the motherboard.

Second, you have to go into the BIOS settings and see if there is an option to allocate more memory to the graphics function.  Not all BIOS settings allow this.

Good Luck
