I'm trying to get into my Rogers yahoo email site, but cannot access this through my laptop. I have always been able to do this. Once I plug in my email address, it usually goes to the next screen where I would enter my password, but I cannot get to this screen. It just gives me an access denied message. No matter what I have tried, I can't get into my email on this laptop

Hi @Sherry114, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're receiving an "Access Denied" message when trying to log into your Rogers Yahoo email on your HP Pavilion - 15-cs3003ca, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies
- Open your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.).
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear browsing data.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear data, then restart your browser and try again.
Try a Different Browser
- If you're using Chrome, try Microsoft Edge or Firefox.
- If it works on another browser, your primary browser may have a setting or extension blocking access.
Check for Network Issues
- Try using mobile data (hotspot) instead of Wi-Fi to see if your network is blocking access.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router and try again.
Disable VPN or Proxy
- If you're using a VPN or Proxy, it might be blocking access.
- Disable it and try logging in again.
Reset TCP/IP and Flush DNS
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Run the following commands one by one:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset - Restart your laptop and try again.
Check for Security Software or Firewall Blocking Access
- Disable any third-party antivirus/firewall temporarily.
- Try logging in again.
- If it works, adjust the firewall settings to allow access.
Use Private/Incognito Mode
- Open Incognito Mode in your browser (Ctrl + Shift + N in Chrome/Edge).
- Try logging in again.
Check for Browser Extensions
- Disable all browser extensions, then try again.
- Some extensions (like ad blockers or privacy-focused ones) can interfere.
Try Logging in from Another Device
- Use a different laptop, phone, or tablet to access https://rogers.yahoo.com.
- If it works on another device but not your laptop, it's likely a browser or network issue.
Contact Rogers Support
- If none of these steps work, the issue may be on Rogers' end.
- Contact Rogers Yahoo Email Support to check for any account restrictions or login issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
