free up some space from C drive in my new hp laptop

I have purchased this hp dv5t customized. When I started my machine all d 500 GB hard disk was partitioned into 2 volumes... C drive with 450 GB and a D drive of 50 GB which is actually a recovery disk. So I have shrunk my C drive and partitioned d 220 unallocated space into 2 new drives. But even after this procedure my C drive is of 230 GB and it won't shrink any further now...I don't want my C drive which consists of system files to be of 230 GB as it is gonna go waste...Because It's not a smart thing to store any imp stuff on d C drive. I need my C drive to be of 100 GB at max. Could u please tell me how do I free up another 100 GB space from my C drive? As I need to create 1 more partition..
