in my hp laptop Probook 4540s i can't set the biometric lock. please help me to do this.

Did you buy Fingerprint reader option ? If NOT, machine only has a small window but no reader underneath. If you wish, you can buy the following part and install to your machine

 

  Fingerprint reader assembly (includes cable, bracket, and screws) part # 683485-001
