HP 15 Laptop PC 15-e3000 (4X378AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP laptop 15s-eq3003ne is basically brand new, about 3 days old on my hands. So as much as possible I want to take precaution on everything especially with the battery. I've seen other older versions of HP laptops capable of restricting battery charging somewhere on 80% or less, but all of the guides and tutorials say that what I am looking for is in the bios, but I've checked several times and nothing. So I suppose that I am making this thread to ask if it is possible for this machine to restrict charging up to certain percentages or not.

Hi:

Your notebook does not have that feature.

It may have the HP Battery Optimizer feature which you can enable.

I don't recommend leaving the notebook plugged in to A/C power 24/7/365 and leaving the battery in a constant 100% charge state or that may lead to battery swelling.
