The BIOS update was written to be run using Windows 7.

 

Update the BIOS in W11 at your own peril.

i want to update the bios using the usb drive, the laptob wont boot up...black screen caps lock blinking.

I don't believe that you can update the BIOS unless you are in Windows.

 

You probably would have to take the PC to a repair shop where they may have BIOS chip re-flashing software that they can use the file contents inside that BIOS file to repair the BIOS.

 

We casual users wouldn't be able to fix a problem like that.
