What is a media recovery kit and what does it do? To fix my pc's problem I am being sent one. My pc's problem is that I keep getting the error "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED."

It's a set of discs ( or a usb flash drive ) that can be used to reload the operating system - a full guide on using this media can be found starting on the link below.
