HP 240 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi, i have purchased this HP 240 G8 on the hp website and it arrived to my home yesterday.

since this is a cheap option it doesn't have the OS.

i have purchased a windows 10 key + a office 2019 professional key for school.

i have installed them both but when i took my external mouse off i realized the touchpad is not working.

in the settings the "touchpad" menu is missing.

i tried to install manually the drivers from the hp website but it gave the error "the driver is not supported on this OS vesion (10.0.019042)".

i found out many people have my same problem and i think this is ridiculus. how a little windows 10 update can disrupt a trackpad on a brand new laptop from a big company like HP.

do you have a solution please?
