my computer keeps on asking to get a product key. where do i get that

Hi:

If your notebook came with Windows 8 or 8.1 the product key should be in the BIOS.

if you are in Windows, you can install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store that will show you the product key in your notebook's BIOS and the version of Windows the key is good for.

i try downloading the app that was provided for me. but for some reason it doesn't want to download in my pc. can you guys help me some other way. like i said i been trying to upgrade from windows 8.1 to wondows 10. and the upgrade seems to stop always stop almost at the end
