my hp pavilion 15 would heat up into the 80 to 90s when i plug it in while using i had just got it back from hp service centre and im really worried on wht to do i also added limitations to the CPU which helped a little (using XTU)

I'd like to help!

 

Try the below suggestions to reduce heat in the laptop and prevent heating:-

 

Step 1: Clean the vents and inspect the fans

Step 2: Increase the efficiency to reduce heat

Step 3: Make sure there is adequate ventilation

Step 4: Place the laptop in a cooler room

Step 5: Use HP software to manage internal temperature

Step 7: Update the BIOS

Step 8: Test for hardware failures
