Hi @Gene120,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see how this can be confusing—your printer is printing double-sided even though the settings indicate otherwise. Let's get to the bottom of this together!

Quick Questions to Understand the Issue:

  1. Is this happening with all print jobs or just specific applications? Some programs (like Microsoft Word) have their own print settings that might override the printer's defaults.
  2. Are you printing from a computer or a mobile device? The settings may differ depending on how you're sending the print job.
  3. Have you checked the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) settings? Sometimes, duplex printing (double-sided) is enabled directly on the printer.

1. Check Printer Preferences in Windows:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e and select Printing Preferences
  • Look for a Two-Sided (Duplex) Printing option and ensure it’s set to Off
  • Click Apply and OK, then try printing again

2. Check Print Settings in the Application You’re Using:

  • Before clicking Print, check the settings inside the program (e.g., Word, Adobe, or Chrome)
  • Look for any "Print on both sides" option and ensure it’s disabled

3. Check the Printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Find your printer’s IP address on the printer screen (under Settings > Network Settings)
  • Type the IP into a web browser to access the printer’s settings
  • Navigate to Settings > Printing Preferences and ensure duplex printing is off

4. Reset Printer Defaults (If Needed):

If the issue persists, you can reset your printer settings to factory defaults and reconfigure your preferences.

Let me know if any of these steps help or if you need further guidance!

Take care and have a good day.
