HP Recommended
First off, the version of MS Office that comes preloaded on HP laptops is a trial version and that expires. If this is more than a few months old, that is probably what happened.
Secondly, if you purchased MS Office with your PC, and you Activated it, then whether or not it expires depends on the version you installed. Office 1019 for example, is a one time, permanent license. Office 365, for example, is a subscription -- and that does expire.
If the license is intact, then you will have to contact Microsoft Office support, because we have no way to debug or correct issues with MS Office components.
