Before my most recent use of HP Update, I was running XAMPP (a bundle for web development that includes Apache web server, MySQL, and other tools). After the HP Update, the XAMPP components appear to run OK, but the phpMyAdmin tool will not load. I get this error:
The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. See our documentation for more information.
I tried all of the suggested fixes from XAMPP and PHP, then uninstalled and re-installed XAMPP (all components). Now my XAMPP version is 7.3.11, and the error is unchanged.
The image below shows the components that I was able to update, within HP Update:
Any suggestions for a troubleshooting approach would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Barry
