Windows Key Issues

  1. Check for Updates:
    • Ensure that your system is fully updated. Go to Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

Touchpad Issues

Re-enable the Touchpad:

  • Go to Device Manager. Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
  • Look for your touchpad device (it might be named something like Synaptics Touchpad or ELAN Touchpad). Right-click on it and select Enable.

Update Drivers:

  • Using Device Manager:
    • In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
    • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
    • Right-click on your touchpad device and select Update driver.
    • Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Using HP Support Assistant:
    • In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.
    • Click on Updates and wait while HP Support Assistant analyzes your system for updates.
    • Select the listed updates, download and install them.

Install Updates from HP Website:

Check Touchpad Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad.
  • Ensure the touchpad is turned on.
  • Adjust any required settings and gestures.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
