15.6” HD Touchscreen Laptop model 15-bw008cl

i received my new laptop yesterday and it was working great. When I closed down for the day I was told updates were needed.  Every time I try to sign back in I am asked for a password which I have reset about 5x now. After entering, my screen just goes blank. The computer is on, the cursor is there, but nothing happens.   when I type with the virtual agent it says my warranty expired a year ago so I cannot get a phone number to talk to an agent. I want to talk to a person who can help me since the document that came with my computer says I have a 90 day warranty. Ironically, the paper says one way to get help is to call but no phone number is provided!!  Sooooo frustrated.
