touchpad not working

the other day my computer's touchpad stopped working, i checked and it needed an update, so i updated it and it was fine.

the next day, it stopped working again but no update was available. i checked help boards and they said to uninstall the driver, and that upon a restart the driver will attempt to reinstall itself. it never did and now whenever i go to download the driver from hp's website it says it's not supported on my operating system. there's also now no "mouse and other pointing devices" on my device manager.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchpad is not working on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you download and install the touchpad driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

What is the version of Windows installed on your computer? (like 1903,1909, 2004)
