i recently upgrade my win 8.1 to win 10 but the problem is the switchable graphics on g6 2311ex does not work on win 10

You should not have forced the Win10 Upgrade before checking for HP Win10 drivers -- as HP does not have them for your model PC.

 

This means that your PC is most likely NEVER going to be fully functional under Win10 because the drivers it needs for full functionality simply do not exist! This is especially true if your PC has switchable graphics because, in this case, the ONLY drivers that will work properly are the OEM drivers that were written for that hardware.

That said, there are others on this forum that have access to Win10 drivers and may know of some from a different PC that are compatible with yours. If they reply to this thread, then you will be able to find the drivers you need.

But if they do not, to restore full functionality, you would need to do a factory reset using HP Recovery Media to its original pre-installed OS -- and since the Win10 Upgrade is known to corrupt the HP Recovery information, you are not going to be able to RollBack to your former OS but would have to order something known as HP Recovery Media in order to do a factory reset back to your prior state.

 

HP Recovery Media is a set of DVDs and a CD, or USB stick, that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, settings, and applications, reinstall the original OS, drivers, and some HP Utilities.

In some cases, you may be able to order a USB stick instead of disks. You have to order these from HP; they can not be downloaded.

You can look online for Recovery Media starting with the linked paged: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, input your Product name or number. On your Software and Drivers Download page, select your Operating System and and Version. Click "Update".

If HP Recovery Media is available for your machine, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for Order Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click the "+" symbol to expand that entry and click on Order Media for details.

When you get the media, if it is a USB stick, insert it into your PC, pressing F9 to get a Boot menu, then select the External USB Hard Drive to boot from it.
