windows 2004 on hp elitebook 840 G1

HP Recommended
hp elitebook 840 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows update offers version 2004 for download and installation 'when you are ready for this update'. Anyone knowing if I should make changes or checks on my notebook before updating, and if so, what changes?

Updating Elitebook 840 G1to version 2004 has not been tested by HP. Is there anyone with experience in updating an 840 G1to version 2004?

Your help is most welcome, thank you for your kind interest.

Thank you so much for your helpful reply. I decided to wait updating to 2004 until the update is mandatory. Now it is only mentioned as an option.
