Hi @360faizul ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you've already attempted some troubleshooting steps, which is a good start. Since the screen remains black and external monitor ports aren't working, it could indicate a hardware issue with the laptop's display or graphics card.

Here are a few additional steps you could try:

  • Check for signs of life: When you power on the laptop, do you hear any sounds like fans spinning or lights turning on? This can help determine if the laptop is powering on properly or not.
  • Check brightness settings: Sometimes, the screen brightness may be set to the lowest level, making it appear as if the screen is off. Try pressing the brightness adjustment keys on the keyboard to see if it makes any difference.
  • Try an external display: Since the laptop's built-in screen isn't working and the external monitor ports aren't functioning either, it's possible that there's a deeper hardware issue. However, you can try connecting the laptop to an external monitor or TV using different cables and ports just to confirm if it's a display issue or something else.
  • Reset BIOS settings: In some cases, resetting the BIOS settings can resolve display issues. To do this, you'll need to access the BIOS setup utility during startup. The key to access BIOS varies depending on the laptop model (common keys include F2, Del, Esc). Once in BIOS, look for an option to reset settings to default or load default settings.
  • Check for hardware damage: Inspect the laptop for any signs of physical damage, particularly around the display hinges or ports. Damage in these areas could potentially cause display issues.
  • Hardware diagnostics: HP laptops often come with built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify hardware issues. You can usually access these by pressing a specific key during startup (often F2 or F10). Look for options related to hardware diagnostics or system tests. HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
