Hi @Precious500,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out — I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your TouchPad gestures on your HP Laptop 14-bp0xx. Let’s gently walk through some steps together to get those smooth gestures working again.

  1. Check if TouchPad is Enabled
    • Go to SettingsBluetooth & DevicesTouchpad.
    • Make sure the Touchpad toggle is turned ON.

  2. Check TouchPad Gesture Settings
    • In SettingsBluetooth & DevicesTouchpad, click Gestures & interaction.
    • Confirm that multi-finger gestures (like two-finger scrolling and three-finger swipes) are enabled and set to your preference.

  3. Update or Reinstall TouchPad Drivers
    • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
    • Right-click your Synaptics/ELAN/Precision TouchPad device and select Update driver.
    • Choose Search automatically for drivers.

If it still doesn’t work:

  • In the same list, Uninstall device.
  • Restart your laptop — Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
