AMD radeon and intel intergrated graphics not working

HP pavillion g6 1320se
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello!

Yesterday, I had some problems. FPS drop on games, and found that my laptop was using intel integrated graphics instead of AMD! So when I tried to use AMD, it switched to VGA graphics adapter, which isn't launching games or anything.  i thought of returning to intel, can't find it.

I have AMD 7400M HD series, about the intel, I don't know. I want you guys to give me correct drivers, exactly please. Since it's not working wherever I downloaded them.

Basically I want to switch back to Intel integrated graphics, or to AMD radeon 7400M hd series if possible.

Thanks in advance.

 Hello!

I have fixed the problem but. another one. GTA IV is closing due to temperature, it didn't do that before. So, any suggestions?

Here is the link to the HP product page for your PC:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-g6-1300-Notebook-PC-series/5186808/model...

Since you have Switchable Graphics, the download you want is the first one -- sp55025, not the second one.

Also, since you are having graphics problems, before you install the HP drivers, use this AMD utility to remove all traces of the previous AMD drivers:  AMD Clean Uninstall Utility

Good Luck

Though, I tried your solution. It didn't work, at all. In fact, it destroyed it. I managed to get things back to its place.

So, I fixed the AMD thing. I only downloaded intel driver, which was really needed.

Games are now overheating my laptop, which they never did. I have to set them as "power saving" in switchable graphics.

Thanks.

Click on the Details buttons in the driver lists.  That will show the SP number -- the one you want it sp55025 in the Graphics section.

As to clearing out the C: drive, you might be able to recover some space by doing the following:

1) In the start area, enter disk

2) When you see Disk Cleanup show up in the list, right-click it and select Run as Administrator

3) That will open a window, check all the boxes that are there and let it run

That should free up some space on the C: drive.

Good Luck
