HP Envy x360 Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an almost new convertible HP envy x360 and have been using the active pen that came with it with no problems for a few months. My pen suddenly stopped working yesterday, I changed the battery with no luck. I found a similar problem on the HP support site and followed the suggested steps: 1. update troubleshooter, 2. checked for windows update, 3. uninstalled HID touch screen and pen driver then restarted the computer, 4. tried to calibrate pen. None of these options have worked so I'm at a loss for what to do.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the HP active pen is not working.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
