After clean Windows 10 installation can't use function shortcuts

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I just changed the stock HDD of my Pavilion 13-u105nl with an SSD and installed Windows 10 on it. Everything seems to work fine but I can't get the function shortcuts to work (Volume, brightness, etc.). Any suggestion?

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install this software if you have not done so already...

This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.

Actually I didn't notice that the Shortcuts were working, but only if used WITHOUT pressing the Fn button. Looking in the forum I find out that in the BIOS you can set to use the functions with/without the Fn button, so I just enabled it back.
