Hi, so I'm pretty pissed off but I'm holding out hope for some magic solution here.

I sent off my HP laptop to get repairs after my boyfriend broke it by essentially frying the motherboard. This was the only issue with my laptop. Upon returning however, I didnt realise at first but you cant click. This is NOT a driver issue, it can tap to click, which is why I didn't notice initially, however if you try to press down to right click or left click, there is nothing to detect the click. There is no click sound, it sinks down however nothing recieves the input. I'm hoping theres some easy solution I can do, however I'm assuming I'll have to send it back.

Unfortunately, I'm at university and have to use this laptop - I have assignments and even sending it off in the first place I was very worried about this getting back in time. Now I really cant afford to send it off a second time given my time constraints.

@UON Welcome to HP Community!

Please let me know where did you service the computer.

It looks like a hardware issue, I recommend you contact HP phone support to check the available service options for the computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
