Product: EliteBook x260 1030 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Elitebook, which has Thunderbolt Ports.  Trying to connect a 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display, so bought the Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter.  Every 30 seconds, something briefly flashes in the system tray and I get a beep, but aside from that, no connection.  Lots of people seem to ask this question in different forums, but I haven't found a clear answer.

Since the initial post, have updated BIOS and Thunderbolt Driver - no change.

This is a regular, popular question.  Where is HP on this issue?
