Product: HP x360 Spectre 15.6 in
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased a brand new convertible laptop today. I cannot get the pen to do anything. Both calibration screens for touch  and pen show microscopic writing and the supplied factory pen in the laptop package does not connect to the laptop. I charged it fully it appears to be the new tilt pen. the Pen Tool app is downloaded and I did all the updates for the laptop I believe. I don't want to return the laptop but will because I bought it for its pen capability.
