Good evening -

I just unboxed and started setting up my laptop.  I have found that the touch pad is not working.

 

I have confirmed the following things:

1.  External mouse works with keyboard

2.  Validated that my touchpad is enabled via devices

3.  Validated the driver, indicates that I have the latest version

 

I am reluctant to start messing with things, because it is under warranty.

 

Contacted support and AI has confirmed few things and dropped me onto a support line where I have been on hold for over 1 hours and 01 minute.  I am still holding because I am wanting to see if anyone answers.  Since brand new device it is under warranty.  Also, curious what that will ultimately look like.
